Kenneth and Vicky Brown are the owners of two Savannah restaurants. Sisters of the New South located at 2605 Skidaway Road, and Brown's Family Restaurant at 3718 Ogeechee Road. Kenneth brings over 27 years of restaurant experience to the table and Vicky brings over 25 years of business experience to the venture. The have combined their talents to bring Savannah some great Southern cuisine. They are family oriented and both locations are family style restaurants.
In business since 2009, they offer great Southern cooking that you would get at Gramdma's house on Sunday! The menu includes Oxtails, Fried Chicken, Baked Chicken, Smothered Pork Chops, Hamburger Steak, and BBQ Ribs. Some of the vegetables include Collard Greens, Lima Beans, Mac & Cheese, and Candied Yams. Most items on the menu are prepared with secret family recipes handed down through the generations.
Both locations offer off site catering, private parties, banquet facilities and reservations for large groups. Enough room for your next office party, graduation party, birthday party, baby shower, bridal shower, or any type of event.
