New to the Savannah restaurant scene, Sisters of the New South has quickly become the place in Savannah for fresh home-cooked Southern food.  A must try is the fried chicken plate.  The chicken is extra crispy and surprisingly not greasy at all (for fried chicken of course).  All of the sides were great as well...I highly suggest the macaroni and cheese - delicious!  Also their cornbread is very tasty.  The wait staff is very friendly and always catering to your needs.  If you are looking for delicious home cooking then do not miss this!

To the "FAMILY" business I was visiting the South and after living in Germany for 3 years enjoying european native cooking I realize I missed the good old southern cooking. My sister whom is a proud employee of yours stirred my tastebuds everyday talking of the good food served and I must admit eating the delicious Oxtails and the trimmings, the Red Velvet cake and Lemonade my tastebuds were truly satisfied. Now I can return to Germany" HAPPY AND PROUD TO BE FROM THE SOUTH"!! Thanks to "SISTERS OF THE SOUTH".

My daughter introduced us to 'Sisters", she attended Armstrong. The first encounter was awesome! The next time we went to Sisters was to celebrate her graduation. Our family (15+ people) came to 'Sisters' to celebrate and the service was swift, courteous, exceptional. The food needless to say was fabulous and generous portions as well. Everyone was bowled over with the portions and the quality. The food reminded us of our grandmother's cooking. Best wishes and much success to you. We are telling everyone we know to visit 'Sisters' whenever they come to Savannah!
